This listing is for an authentic vintage antique farm or ranch tool. This is a cast iron fence stretcher repair tool for barbed wire fences. It was advertised and sold as an ECLIPSE, but is not marked. Stretcher is cast iron and is 24-1/4" in length. There are narrow and wide head variations of this tool. This is the narrow head, with head being 1-1/4" in width. Tool is pictured ...n in Smith & Smiths "Collectors Guide for Fencing Tools" as No. 297. Tool has been cleaned and repainted a dark blue at some time. Tool is complete and in very good used condition. Please refer to "Condition" above and photographs for more information..
