I have always said that I would like to see one of Ralph Hodgdon's books professionally colored. I finally got my wish when I found this amazing and one of a kind set!!!! This was colored and then cut by a professional artist with a lot of time and patience involved. I think that this was done in pencil since the color didn't bleed through to the backs of the costumes. There is the one doll and 55 costumes plus accessories. I believe that this is the entire cont...ents of the Hodgdon coloring book of Maria Montez. Many of the costumes have the movie and date of it written in pencil on the back of them. She even added glitter to 7 of the costumes and I try to show that in the last photo. Anything done by hand like this is a VERY rare find. This is a wonderful Ralph Hodgdon collectable!!! The entire set is shown in the photos.All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates, other homes or purchased here on eBay. I don't know the previous storage history. My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7. I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors. People smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it. I try and list all flaws for the paper doll sets that I sell. Shipping is to the USA only.
