(commissioned fro...m rank of Sgt.) Chrswell H. Potts from Glenside, Pennsylvania. The 58th Infantry was formed at Gettysburg Pa. In 1917 and the photos are of then Sgt. Potts and his time with Company A, 58th Infantry U.S. Army. He went with the 58th to fight in the trenches in France. He kept an amazingly complete scrapbook filled with original photos, newspaper clippings, 2 1918 "Trench and Camp" complete newspapers, 4 WWI dogtags, Pall Mall cigarette case, early Camel cigarette packs, postcards, military correspondents that is relevant to 2nd Lt.
