A fascinating and incredibly collectable piece of history, with a genuine personal side. This late Victorian adjustable silver bangle is set with approximately 60 silver coins from the the 1800’s and much earlier, many beautifully hand engraved with names and places. They’re arranged in a way that makes it seem like whoever put this together, possibly a Boer War soldier, grouped their friends, their lovers, their pets, and places they’d been in the world together. Also included a...re a few very old silver coins indeed.It weighs just shy of 200 grams of solid silver.
