There are "faces" or sometimes called "Gargoyles" at the base of the spout and handle. On the bottom it is marked "Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, there is a three wave symbol and some other letters then the # 1/ 1119, 1032, 1113 & 1130. On the edge of the teapot lid it is also marked, "Royal Copenhagen, De...nmark, 1/1119, three wave design and “GY”Masterfully crafted with exquisite open-work lace borderEvery little hole in the intricate lace border is carefully made by hand and accented with blue brushstrokes. Faces at the base of handle and spout.Excellent condition with no chips, etc.Porcelain, marked teapot 1/1119, sugar bowl 1/1113, creamer pitcher 1/1032, cups and saucers 1/1130Teapot Measures 8” H and 8 1/2” WNo full set like this is to be found outside of Denmark.
