Hand painted Maple Leaf Nippon Porcelain nut / candy dish / bowl with rippled (some might say scalloped) edges. Bowl is adorned with dark pink roses, sea foam green accents, and gold moriage trim and accents. I have not seen a bowl this bright and colorful. I'm sure you can agree it's absolutely gorgeous.
This piece has the original maple leaf blue logo. This logo dates the piece between 1891-1911. It is apx 6" wide, 1.25"-1.5" tall.
Condition:Some of the gold a...ccents & border trim has worn away (see photos). Bottom lip does have some embedded dirt but unless you flip it over you can't see it (see photos, not sure how to explain). There are some very small chips on the bottom lip where it sits on the surfact, and there is slight crazing starting to happen (I darked the image so you can see where the crazing is).
