9 " Antique German Papier - Mache Head Doll With Cloth Body Marked K

DESCRIPTION:This listing is for a lovely antique doll with papier-mache head marked "K" and jointed cloth body. Reference shows similar dolls made by Armand Marseille, Kling, Heubach and others in the 1930s+ Germany. Doll has the right arm up attached with a small thread to her hair. I left her as she is thinking possibly made like this, I do not know if anything is missing. She is metal clip jointed at the shoulders and hips, she has mitten type hands with individual thumbs. A "...sweet" face with oil painted brown eyes, black liner over her eye lids, brown single stroke eye brows and closed mouth, high color blush on her pretty face. She has blonde mohair wig and wears a felt hat. Wears print dress and undies, painted on shoes. Overall this doll is in nice slightly displayed condition, comes with doll stand.
