Vintage The Little Theatre of Dallas Theater ProgramApril 9-14, 1928"The Swan"
You are bidding on a vintage 1928 program from The Little Theatre in Dallas in Dallas, Texas for the play, "The Swan" by Ferenc Molnar. This is the opening play in their new building. The play was directed by Oliver Hinsdell.
"The Swan" is a seemingly lighthearted adult fairy tale that actually is packed with philosophical insights of life, love, social classes and family responsibilities, all of... which stand up freshly to the passage of time.
The program consists of 16 pages including an article relating how the theater has come up through the years and the story of getting this new theater building. There is info about the cast and director as well as the author of the play. There are also a few nice ads.
As seen in the 1st photo, there is a light crease at the right bottom edge. The first page looks as if there was a photo or something lightly glued along the top of the page, but the photo is missing (See 2nd photo). The rest of the program is in lovely condition.
The program measures 9½" x 6¼" and has 16 pages.
This is a wonderful vintage Little Theatre of Dallas program from 1928 for the play, "The Swan." It will be a fine addition to any collection of souvenir programs and theater memorabilia!
