This is an excellent Stereo card of the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 400 card set (the cards are numbered 1 to 400) from the late 1920’s. The card is titled "The Taj Mahal, Most Beautiful Building in the World, Agra, India." and is numbered 260 with a Keystone negative number of V27414 T. This card is in excellent to near mint condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Please n...ote that due to the flash used when I photographed these cards, the printed title at the bottom looks a little washed out in some pictures and a few have a little glare. The Stereoviews are fine with the title just as dark and clear as the rest of the printing on the card. I will be listing more Stereoviews on a regular basis, so check back for more views. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
