28" Antique & Rare Martha Chase black doll Ca. 1920.
This is a wonderful example of this hard to find doll. I have black lighted the doll and it has no repaint or repair to head and shoulders and it is in beautiful condition. The only repair is both lower feet - see photo. The legs either got wet or something must have chewed the foot off. The owner must have sent it to the Chase factory to be repaired since the left foot has been replaced with a C...hase black hand. Very puzzling...………..but better the feet than the head.
