For your consideration, this is a beautiful vintage round covered muffin, butter or cheese dish from Noritake Japan in the Sylvania pattern. It features a white base with garlands of pink roses with light blue and pale yellow trim on the rims. It is trimmed in gold with heavy gold accenting the handle on the lid. It includes the bottom round base, insert and lid.
The base measures 7 1/2” in diameter x 1” high. The height with the lid, to the top of the lid finial is approximatel...y 3 1/2”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or browning. It appears unused with no utensil marks.
