This is a Pre-Owned Vintage? Royal Copenhagen Blue Flower Fluted Octagonal Base Candlestick. The candlestick is signed on the bottom "Royal Copenhagen Denmark", three wavy blue lines and the initials "XP", and handwritten numbers that are a bit hard to read but I think it says "76/3303". There is also some inscribed numbers/letters along the bottom rim of the base that I think says "HC773513". This candlestick is a factory second because it has a scratch mark through the three blue wav...y lines. Although it is a factory second, it is still very pretty. The candlestick is made of nice bone white porcelain with pretty painted blue flowers on it. Please see all eight photos for details. Although I am not a complete expert on Royal Copenhagen, I would say that the candlestick is in pretty good pre-owned vintage? condition. It has some minor dust and some minor film from being handled, I would recommend gently cleaning/dusting it before displaying. I tried as carefully as I could to inspect the candlestick with a magnifying glass. I am not sure why this particular candlestick is considered a factory second since I do not see anything that really sticks out as a flaw. I do see some naturally formed flaws on the candlestick such as small blue paint spots and on the bottom there is a blue scuff line mark, but that is about it. The candlestick measures about 4 1/4" at highest point by about 4" at widest point. Overall it is still a very pretty candlestick! (if you are not too picky about the flaws mentioned and being a factory second). I tried my best to describe this candlestick, but may have not covered everything imaginable.
