A Beautifully Painted Antique English Porcelain Heart Shaped Dish Worcester Derby circa 1800 ~ ~ Hand Painted Plums, Berries and Flowers ~ A Beautifully Painted Antique English Derby Porcelain Heart Shaped Dish circa 1800 ~ ~ Hand Painted Plums, Berries and Flowers ~~*~9 5/8" long across the middle ~ 8" top to bottom ~ about 1 1/2" deep This very finely painted tray is unmarked; but I believe it is early Derby porcelain who used this heart or kidney shaped dish on many of their patter...ns. The porcelain is heavy (1 lb 2 oz) and very translucent, glossy and feels very silky to the touch. The flowers and fruit are painted in a bright palette dominated by the turquoise and green leaves. The combination of the lovely painting and interesting shape make this a very attractive dish.

In excellent condition; there is some light wear to the enamels that I don't notice nearly as much in person as in my photos...There are two small indentations that may look like chips to one side but they are glazed over and gilded so original, not damage and barely noticeable.
