Vintage bisque miniature piano with porcelain flower and faux pearls
Here is a beautiful rare vintage miniature grand piano that was owned by Liberace. It was part of his miniature piano collection. It was sold at auction by Butterfield & Butterfield on April 8, 1990 of Liberace's possessions of his Palm Spr...ings, California home. It was his favorite home, which he called The Cloisters. This piano was lot number 383 and it has the original two auction labels on the bottom of the piano showing the lot number and sale number 5000X.
A detailed letter of provenance will be supplied along with a copy of the original bill of sale from the accounting department of the auction house, Butterfield & Butterfield, which shows my name and same home address. I attended this auction and did purchase a number of items, including this lot number 383. Please look at all of the photos which are part of the description.
The piano is in excellent condition with no repairs. I noticed that one of the very tiny leaves to one of the porcelain roses has a tiny chip which is hard to tell. I only mention it just to let the buyer know. This displays well and is great to own something from Liberace. The piano is almost five inches long. The top comes off to store candy or trinkets.
