Original Description:
Attractive turned head drake pintail in very good condition. It looks to have had its weight removed and put on a shelf. Decoy has been repainted and has an old varnish surface. I’m not sure if it was repainted by Perdew’s wife, Edna or someone else. Some age cracking to paint, otherwise a solid Illinois river decoy from this carver. Circa 1920-1930.
Measurements: 15.5” in length and 5.5” in width and 6 3/4” in height.
