Delightfully sweet and gentle expression on this 24” reproduction of the rare AT (Andre Thuillier) French doll originally made in the 1880’s in Paris, France. I have been making dolls for over 40 years and try to make them look as authentic to the original as possible. Her porcelain head was poured in pale pink bisque. Please enlarge photos to see painting details. Beautiful pale blue paperweight glass eyes made by Hand Craft glass in England. Her lovely mohair wig frames her face ...in delicate soft blonde curls. Her jointed French body is made of composition and her fingers are outlined. Her dress is a pale pink silk in a French style. Her bonnet is an antique original with silk ribbon accents. Her socks and shoes are vintage. She is signed into her bisque with my signature Colleen Phillips and the year 2020. Thanks for looking!
