You are bidding on an original #1 first 1959 blonde ponytail Barbie Doll with part of the 1959-1961 Picnic Set #967.
Other than wiping her down with a damp Q-tip, the doll is being sold as I found her. I have not attempted to clean her in any way. Please see all pictures and the video for the best representation of condit...ion.
The picnic set includes the original red gingham shirt, the vintage denim blue jean clam-diggers, the original bamboo fishing pole, original plastic fish with metal sinker, and her straw hat. The ribbons that hold the hat to her head are detached from the had but are included for repair. NO shoes and NO basket. The shirt could use a gentle washing which I will leave to the new owner.
Her bottom ponytail band fell off. Her lipstick is mostly gone. Her earrings are worn but I do not see any green on her skin. Her skin has discolored (whitened) on most of her body most notably on her face, lower legs, and feet. (Her torso remains darker). She has a small ding in her right armpit. She has a few darker spots on her arms and legs which might or might not clean off (I haven't tried to clean those). Her fingers, toes, nose, and eyelashes are all nice and have not been chewed. Both feet have the copper tubes. Her hair has not been cut and I find no cracks in her neck or seams.
She will be mailed in the US via either Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express (buyers choice). I will insure the package and will require a signature upon delivery.
