Up for auction is a beautiful 1950's Madame Alexander CISSY. She is 20" tall and marked "Alexander" on the back of her neck. She has her original red wig in very good condition with lots of curl and wonderful long curly bangs that come nicely on her forehead. Her face has such a sweet look with no retouches, nice cheek and lip color, and all her eyelashes. While she does display beautifully, this is not a mint condition doll. There are a few issues that make her less than perfect.... There are some light scratches on her face above and to the right of her lips on the right side of her face. These are not real noticeable unless under a bright light. There are also a few scratches on her eyes, again not really apparent when displayed. There are splits on the top of the hips, but no splits at the knees. Legs are tight and body is straight. Finally, there is color loss on the top of the feet near the toe nails which is covered when the doll is wearing stockings. So, while not perfect, she will look great dressed and display wonderfully!
