Original Description:
A gorgeous, circa 1840, pre-Grenier papier maché doll with cloth body. Well-preserved, antique condition. Minimal fading with some staining to body and garments. Beautiful glass eyes. Nice velvet muff hangs from her neck. Chipping and crazing to head as well as a pronounced crack on the doll’s proper right side. Face surface old but not original. Doll was sewn into red dress, which is hand sewn. Leather shoes. Bloomers and three petticoats.
