Vintage Madame Alexander Early Cissy Doll In Chemise

This is a very pretty early 1950's Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has strawberry blond hair and a sweet face that is all original, with a light cheek blush, pretty blue eyes with all her brush lashes and eye shadow. Nice red lips. She still retains light blush on her hands and knees. She does have scuff marks where the head rubs the neck and on upper legs. All consistent with regular play wear. She has two small cracks on each leg way up the top in the body cavity ( see pics) S...he has a scratch on her chest ( see picture) otherwise her body is in nice condition and she's clean. She is wearing her original early chemise which is speckled with several small holes but is still in decent condition in my opinion. These early chemises, in my opinion, seem to be a little fragile as a rule anyway. Her floral mules are very nice copies in nice condition. She does really seem to me to be a well cared for Cissy doll that I know came from her original owner. All in all a very nice early Cissy.
