Welcome to my auctions! Today I am listing this lovely original Cissy outfit made in 1956, #2017. It consists of an aqua taffeta dress with black velvet bolero jacket. pale pink can can slip with matching panties, mint original silver cissy shoes, lucite purse, and mint nylon stockings. The dress has a dropped waistline with cap sleeves and is still stiff and has not been laundered. Tagged Cissy, Alexander. The elastic on the slip is loose and may need new band. The hat is a band...eau of black velvet with pink roses and velvet forget me nots , It also has a black veil and stick pin to hold the hat on. The hat was made by J. Douglas James of New York and is beautifully done. The rest of outfit is original. Overall, outfit is in excellent condition. From smoke free home.
