DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
ITEM: This is a rare antique camera. It is a smaller folding bellows studio or portrait camera. The lens front is fixed and the back slides in and out along a fold down wood track. The fold down track is stamped F Putnam New York, MARVEL. Also, the number 3731 is stamped in several places. The front piece measures about 9 1/4 by 7 1/2 inches. It measures about 12 3/4 inches long with the track folded down. The bellows have some splits at the corners. Not sure they are completely light "tight." There is no film holder with this. The opening at the back measures about 7 1/2 by 4 3/4. Not sure of the completeness. This auction is intended for buyers who can repair or restore as needed. Please bid accordingly.
