1888 Stoneware Political Advertising 1 Gallon Jug - Presidential Campaign Harrison & Morton 

Today we are offering this great RARE antique stoneware jug.  It is about 11" tall.  The body of the jug has a thin salt-glaze. 
The image of the blue slip glaze on the front reads "Harrison & Morton Protection Free Whiskey & Tobacco".  This has been in our our personal collection for many years.  It is in good condition, except for a shallow ...chip to the lip. (See photos).  
This jug was a "giveaway" for the Presidential election of 1888.  My research shown this is rare, with only 1000 having been originally produced.  T
his would make a wonderful addition to any Stoneware, Political Campaign, American History, or Presidential collection.
