This is a superb pair of staffordshire greyhound dogs with the separate legs, each portrayed with a captured rabbit to the decorative bases of which:During our research we have been informed they certainly date from the 19th century. Date c1880s.A pair of staffordshire greyhound dogs with the separate legs.Wonderful facial decoration & detail with their wonderful overall portrayals.A left and a right.Both portrayed wearing a collar.Decorative faces and pointed noses.A cap...tured rabbit to the decorative hollowed bases to the fronts.Bases with the gilt band to the fronts.Each has an overall height of about 7inches.Max overall size of the hollowed base of about 7 x 2.5inches.Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to the pair is excellent and both are not subject to any major blemishes except:one is subject to a hairline following the centre of the back with:same having a fine hairline under the base.Due to age: areas of fine crazing with areas of rubbing.All as per pictures.Besides being a very collectable pair of 19th century Staffordshire greyhound dogs, with the separate legs, wonderful facial decoration, mounted onto the hollow bases with the rabbits to the fronts, c1880s, both would also look fabulous displayed.uk to uk:FREEuk to usa: FREEuk to eu europe: FREEuk to worldwide: $29
