DESCRIPTION:This Listing is for a "lovely" antique German Armand Marseille doll who measures 15" tall. Incised at the back of her bisque head is "Made in Germany, Floradora, 390 n, A 0 M". Reference attributes to 1890+ Germany, by Armand Marseille doll maker. This doll is a bisque socket head on wooden composition jointed body. Body shows overall wear, crazing, paint wear, strung fine with fingers intact. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees. ...; A "sweet" Dolly Face with open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted black lashes around her eyes, brown eye brows, open mouth with upper teeth, and rose color blush on her face. Her brunette mohair wig slips over her head, no longer a pate. Head is a bit dirty inside I did not see any cracks or hairlines. There is some glue residue from a pate on her head. Doll wears a vintage off white dress with embroidery and lace trim, it is clean and snaps down the back, she is wearing full slip with pantaloons, stockings and shoes.
