Antique Black Cat Stamp Album With Rare Stamps

An old inherited collection of world wide stamps in a vintage Black Cat Album, which was produced for stamps issued between 1840 - 1907.
This particular collection has stamps dating back to 1841. Noted several Penny Reds in varied condition including some dating back to 1841, imperforated (these catalogue at £35 per stamp). Late Victorian stamps for Queen Victoria’s Jubilee of 1887. 10 stamps alone catalogue at approx £265 in the GB section. Early British colonials have represe...ntative stamps of many countries of the reign of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, and apparently a few stamps have been added at a later date for the reign of King George VI. The collection is predominantly used stamps but some mint stamps. Also includes the stamps issued for the Duke of Windsor (King Edward VIII). Most interesting items noted are over prints for British Levant King Edward VII issues dating back to the turn of the century. Many other countries included but too many to mention, but interesting sections for Australian States (Queen Vic), Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia (Swans), strates settlement, Malaya plus Hong Kong, Canada and India. The collection continues with the rest of the world. Foreign countries, early Austria, France, Germany, Bolivia, Japan, South and Central America and United States with better stamps noted including 10 cent map stamp of 1904 with post mark St. Louis fare. I have not removed any defective stamps and although stamps are mixed condition the majority (serval hundred 300+) are highly collectible. The original album has many interesting early advertisements which are collectible in themselves.
