3 X Antique Poetry Books By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.1. The Poetical Works Of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Dated 1840. The book is in Reasonable condition for its age.The front cover is adrift & rear cover is 3/4 adrift.There is damage to cover, spine, corners & edges. The pages are discoloured particularly front & rear.Inside on pages 5 & 10 are hand written names.Some staining inside front & rear.Still a great piece of history.&nb...sp;Size: 7.25 inches (18.5 cms) X 5 inches (13 cms).
2. Evangeline & Miles Standish. By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The book is in Good condition for its age.I have tried to display the condition in my photos.The page edges are gold coloured.There are a few shelf marks on the cover.Slight damage to spine, edges & corners.The pages have minor discolouring.Some light brown staining inside front & rear.Still a great piece of history. Size: 5 inches (13 cms) X 3.5 inches (9 cms).
3. Hiawatha -The Courtship Of Miles Standish, and other poems. By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Dated 1912.The book is in Reasonable condition for its age.I have tried to display the condition in my photos.The leather cover is a bit ragged around the edges.There is a hand written name on page 5 dated 1919.The pages have minor discolouring.Still a great piece of history. Size: 6.25 inches (15.5 cms) X 4 inches (10 cms).
