Antique Rare Bronze Medal Of Ribeiro Sanches

This is a beautiful and rare antique bronze medal made by the great Portuguese sculpture Armindo Viseu, dedicated to the famous Ribeiro Sanches. Lived from 1699 to 1783.The medal as 7 cm (2.75 inches) diameter, and weighs 157 grams (5.53 oz). The medal shows a bust of Ribeiro Sanches on the main side, and a description of the achievements in reverse, with the inscriptions: "Penamacor Portuguese world famous scientist remarkable in practical science and speculative philosophy&...nbsp;, clinical  of the Russian imperial court.".Only 500 medals were produced and this one is the 403.
