~ VINTAGE 1957-1962 VOGUE GINNY DOLL ~BENT-KNEE WALKER w/SLEEP EYES
You'll love this delightful Vintage Ginny doll! She has a tag on her skirt that indicates that she comes from "Hastings Country Doll Hospital" in Mulkeytown, IL...but the little label that says that is also quite old. According to the information I gleaned from the internet, this Ginny doll appears to be the 1957-1962 model. She has slightly bent knees and when you move them to 'walk' her, her head goes from side to... side. She has brown sleep eyes that sometimes need help opening and closing and has formed eyelashes. The hair is reddish...rooted on a 'wig' base over the actual head. The arms are also jointed. Marked simply "Vogue" on the back of the head...last photo. She has what I think is probably an outfit made or supplied by the doll hospital...and has removable well-fitted shoes.

This doll comes from a doll collection I purchased at an estate sale and is in very nice condition, but has a bit of a 'bed-head' hair style. The doll is odor-free and came from and is still in a Smoke-Free home.
