Up for auction is an 1800's, Royal Crown Derby, Sauce Tureen with an Imari style decoration done in cobalt blue, reds, and gold gilt. Along each end of the handle on the lid and sides of the Tureen, is a repousse Gold Gilt Lion's head and the feet of the tureen have a repousse paw shape with gold gilt. It measures approx. 5-1/2" to the lid's handle x 3-3/8" tall without the lid x 7" 3-7/8". There is an approx. 1/2" "Firing Line" that occurred when this piece was made,... as shown in the fourth and fifth images.
