Vintage Early 1960s Mattel Barbie Ponytail Doll #5 in Original Outfit with Stand

Selling as is, as shown, and as best described!Appearance: Rooted dark brunette combination hair (pinned into a braided updo), blue eyes and eyeliner with molded lashes. Painted fingernails, toenails, and facial features. Vinyl head on hard plastic body, jointed at neck, shoulders, and hips. Black and ...white striped one-piece swimsuit, white sunglasses with blue lenses, black high-heeled sandals. Black wire stand.Condition: Very Good condition! Has been played with but well-loved, and most flaws are from natural wear and use over time. Clothing could use gentle light cleaning. No detectable scent or strong odor. There is one small neck split on the back side of her head. Body is fairly clean, but could use wiping down as she does show some discoloration on legs due to age. Minimal paint wear to face, though finger- and toenails are more worn. Face has some mild dust/debris buildup in the contours around her eyes and nose. No “green ear” present, some slight manufacturing flaws but no noticeable deep scratches or gouges to body surface. Hair may have a few thinning plugs, and style has become frizzy. Overall still a lovely doll that would make a nice gift or addition to your collection! Please pay special attention to photos!!Total weight is approximately 144.1 grams.
