DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
ITEM: This is a shutter from an antique studio portrait camera. The one tube of the mechanism on the back has a sticker that reads Packard Ideal Shutter. It is mounted on a 9 by 9 inch wood square and has a ring with screw threads for a lens to mount. Looks like the diameter of the opening is about 3 3/16 inches There is a two prong plug in the front, but the wires are cut at the top of the osther side. I can make the shutter leaves open and close by pulling up the mechanism on the right up. This is just a part and is being sold AS IS for parts or restoration. Please see pictures and ask any questions.
