This Turquoise is a Domed Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and polished instead of being faceted. This turquoise is amazing and is made up of small natural turquoise nuggets from different mines that have been bonded together under extreme pressure using a resin that contains crystalline natural pyrite giving the matrix a metallic shine. The Mosaic of Robin's Egg Blue Colors with the Golden Pyrite look wonderful in the Yellow Gold Setting.
