This Georgian Napoleonic prisoner of war made box i think dates to around 1810 , the box is made of wood with straw work designs all over as seen in the photos, on the lid there is a design of a basket of flowers with other ornate designs on the sides , inside the lid has another straw work design of a sailing ship in a harbour with buildings around as shown , there would have been sectioned compartments inside that are missing but not essential , the box measures 10 x 6.5 x 3.75 inche...s , there is some wear and tear with age with some of the straw work missing but not unusual for this type of box
