This is a beautifully done hand-painted cabinet/portrait plate of a young woman and two small children.
It is a 19th century Royal Vienna plate, with the beehive mark or back stamp.
This plate measures 8 1/4" in diameter.
Signed on the front side, "Ahne, " and signed on the reverse side, "Duett."
Soft colors with a deep green border and a lot of lush gold gilt embellishments, trim and a wide scroll around the perimeter of the plate.
The paint is in nice condition, ...and there are not any chips, cracks, restoration or any other issues.Some of the gold paints appears to be lighter in some areas of the plate.
