Original Description:
This charming length of carved oak was originally possibly from a length of moulding around the top of a cupboard or similar.  At one end we have a Griffon like monster that morphs into foliage along the length of the carving The Griffon with its bird like head and winged lion body.Flemish circa 1680-1700.45 cm long, Height 13.5 cm.Old repair to top edge. some losses to carved surface and old dead worm.
