She stands 7" tall and is jointed. She wears a mohair wig that was once in braids. She has blue side glance painted eyes and has a sad face that is the result of some of the crazing cracking around one eye and her mouth. There is light crazing as you can see when enlarging pictures. One her back in raised lettering in MME. ALEXANDER, helping to identify her age to be 1930's. On this girl, the head and torso are one piece. The arms and legs are aged but overall good. The handpainted socks and shoes are clearly defined, but the sock height on the left leg is higher than the right. I believe these to be original clothes, with the pinafore apron tattered and aged. The sleeveless yellow floral print dress is faded mostly but you can see the original colors underneath. There is a delicate half slip fastened in back with a safety pin and cotton bloomers under that. I have not removed her clothing since it is so fragile and I believe the snap on the dress would break or tear fabric. While this girl has some issues, she still is pretty structurally sound and would be a nice addition to any doll collection! Nice estate find!
