Offering a 1960's steel, copper and brass mid-century modern wall sculpture depicting a flock of geese flying in front of oval sunburst called "Birds in Flight".Though the name Curtis Jeré is familiar to many as the maker of ebullient and eccentric modern design from the 1960s and ‘70s, relatively few are aware that it is a pseudonym for the design team of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The Curtis Jeré sculptures and metal work were distributed by Raymor, a well-known name in Mid Century collectibles, and sold at Gump’s in San Francisco and other upscale retail establishments. The size is 38"W x 3"D x 20" H and is in perfect vintage condition. Some of these have brass spikes that are bent and birds missing wings but this one doesn't have either.
