This is a vintage Japanese small hand thrown ceramic vase. This vase can also be used as a tokkuri (sake bottle). The vase has a wonderful rustic texture in a brown glaze typical of Tamba ware. It is made of a high fire ceramic for lasting durability. It is a good size to serve up to five servings of hot sake.This vase measures 3 1/2" in diameter at its widest by 5 1/4" tall (8.9 x 13.3 cm). The mouth opening measures 3/4" (1.9 cm).
