This is a vintage Japanese small one-bud vase with a hand painted floral. It has a Hyotan (gourd) shape. The overall design is that of san sai (young fiddle head fern). Please view the closeup photos to admire the beautiful floral design!It measures 4" in diameter at its widest by 6 1/4" tall (10 x 15.8 cm). The mouth opening measures 1" (2.5 cm). With exception to minor signs of past use, this vase remains in overall very fine condition.
