SUBJECT: Original WWI photo of RARE AMERICAN HOLT STEAM POWERED TANK at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, 1918. The title is wrong. This was an American Skeleton tank designed to be long enough to cross trenches, but light enough not to collapse trenches. RARE PROTOTYPE.This photo is from an American who served at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG...), Maryland, from March 27, 1918 through March 26, 1919. It is a series photo from APG, but it is very rare compared to the common commercial and series photos sold to troops in France druing WWI. Some of the images are of weapons and vehicles that are very rare indeed.DATE: WWI - photo does not glow under a black light. SIZE: 1.5" x 2.5"CONDITION: Very Good; See scans..
