Presented here is a fabulous antique 19th century Royal Bonn vase by Franz Anton Mehlem (1836-1937). This is a magnificent 15" high by 8 1/2" wide at the handles, 4" base. It features a design of striking florals in pink, cream and lavender tones on a yellow background. It is pain...ted front and back, it has gilt accents around the top and base, this appears to be a combination of hand painting and transfers. The handles are very ornate with an elegant shape, the top is fluted with a scalloped curved edge. Marked on the bottom; Royal Bonn, FAM and hand written numbers. Excellent antique condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing (it is a hard paste porcelain), there are flash back reflections in the photos.
