This wonderful vintage railroad watch would be perfect as the start of a collection or as an addition to an existing collection.
It appears as if the watch has been serviced at some time. We are not certain as to when or what service was performed. Typically, a watchmaker will leave a notation on the inside of the caseback.
There is a watchmaker...'s engraving on the inside of the caseback.
The crystal is a plastic replacement. There are some superficial scratches on the crystal.
Caseback has some scratching from normal use and handling.
The watch winds and runs.
At the time of this listing, it is running and keeping time, but we have not measured it for accuracy.
As this is a vintage watch, we make no guarantees on accuracy.
Dial is clean and easy to read, with minimal wear.
Hands are a gorgeous dark blue/violet color.
Serial number dates the watch to 1923.
The case is a 14K gold filled Wadsworth case branded with the Bunn Special brand.
Watch chain is a modern, gold plated chain and is not original to the watch.
