All rightsreserved Cufflinkking ©1998 -2019Up for sale is an unusual vintage pair of hand made solid silver Cowrie shell cuff links. Each link has a soft corner trapezoidal silver and bezel set Cowrie shell plaque for its viewing side. They have "V-shaped" shanks and a rod shaped closing mechanism. These unusual links are stamped with a stylized bird punch mark which resembles a crow and no additional markings that I can find.The cuff links measure approx. 1" x 3/4" and were probably made circa 1950. They are in good vintage condition with the above mentioned observations and are ethnic or tribal in origin.
