Circa: 1908.THANK YOU for considering our totally immaculate, dead accurate, solid running collectible South Bend 18 size Grade 333, open face, 15 jewels, Model 2, Grade 333, cupped gold jewel settings, large all-gold balance screws, patented regulator, full nickel plate, stem wind, lever set fancy dress movement. This fine 333-grade movement is in excellent working order, with a dead flat and true balance wheel motion that has a fine, wide arc and strong, steady... beat. The movement is a smooth wind, starts right up on my 5th wind with no twist, and lever sets as designed. The movement holds time well within 30 seconds per week face-up after careful and prolonged hand-regulating before dis-assembly! Appearance-wise this movement is looking great, with sparkling bright and clean 100% tarnish-free "zig-zag" style damascene nickel plates with 100% of the original black inlaid engraving paint intact, clean and correct traveling nut-style screw micrometer regulator needle and index, spotless looking down inside, around the sides and in front, and ripping and running holding railroad time!! The movement does show very minor and ordinary wear with no signs of abuse! It will be a great acquisition for the lucky top bidder!
