Antique 19thc Staffordshire Porcelaneous Figure of a RamC1830-40 (Seeking a new flock)Ex Dennis Rice Collection. Lovely figureof a Ram on a base painted with pink roses and decorated with a continuous giltline around the bottom edge. The sheepmeasure 8cms (3inches) high, the base measures 1.75 inches x 2.5 inches.The Ramhas a granular fleece, spot black eyes and has the prettiest startledexpression.Thephotos do form part of the description so please assess carefully.&nbs...p;Thecondition is very good with just the end of one horn missing. Similarsheep can be seen in “English Porcelain Animals of the 19th century” by D.
