Antique FRENCH Brass MYTHOLOGY CHERUB LETTER HOLDER Made in Paris SIGNED Late 19th century French Sevres style porcelain and ormolu bronze bonbonniere centerpiece. This lovely bowl with lid features courting scene signed Fragonard on a lid and hand painted enamel gilded floral and scroll design all over the bowl. The bowl is mounted in gorgeous empire style bronze frame with floral swags and ornate handle. It measures 9.5" wide and 7" high.Condition: The... bronze frame is bent on one side, so it is one leg and the bowl has many chips at the rim, but with some restoration this piece can still looks beautiful.
