Beautiful pieces that literally glow from their 22 karat gold! The light just catches them and they change color as the lighting changes over time throughout the day. Really pretty.This set includes a sugar bowl, lid and matching tray. The ear handles on the bowl have an art deco flair to them.Maker's marks include:

Sugar bowl with lid on: 4.5" tall to tip of lid and 5.25" wide from edge of handle to handleVintage Homer Laughlin Royal China Eggshell 22 Kt Gold Sugar Bowl & Tray 1940's . Condition is Used. There is some damage listed below. Please consider that these pieces are delicate porcelain, are about 80 years old, and still amazingly pretty!
1. Tray has a chip on the rim that was glued back on at some point in the past. You can see it if you look for it but otherwise you wouldn't necessarily notice it.
2. There are 4 other chips on the under side of the tray rim that are not visible from the top. There is no crazing on the tray.
3. Sugar bowl and lid have no chips or cracks but it does have crazing and there is some residual black marker ink in the crazing marks on the bottom of the bowl.
4. There is wear and tear to the gold on both pieces. You should be able to see if you zoom on the photos provided. The top corner edges of the sugar bowl handles have definite gold wear.
