LG Wright, Cobalt Blue, LARGE, Hen on Nest Covered candy dish or compote!                                              GORGEOUS COLOR!!!This is  just a wonderful piece of collectible glass!! The hen on nest  has been a very popular piece for table use, as originally produced and seen small as covered salt dips, larger for candy dish or covered butter di...sh use, and then this size which is capableof holding a large cold salad, as an example. Think of this on a beautifully laid table filled with ambrosiafor a delicious summer supper addition!  These were made by many glass makers, and in many colors includingmilk glass and slag colors, and clear-solid colors.  This does not glow under UV light.STUNNING DETAIL ON THIS PIECE - as seen in photos!!!  BIG covered dish versus the smaller ones usually seen and in wonderful condition!!Fine detailing,  with a few (see photo) tiny flea bites on inner lid, otherwise, gently used and beautiful!!This item measures:   9" in length x 7.25" in height  Condition is Used.
