Display panel for IBM 1620 computer. If your into old computers this is it!. I was given the original computer around 1978 from a school who could not afford the cost of repairing the 8K memory. I was able to repair it, and had it working. Then after several cycles of failures and repairs, I gave up and scrapped it. The front panel I retained because I thought it would be an interesting display. I didn't do a good job preserving it, but a clever person may... be able to make it into an interesting item.
The IBM 1620 was announced by IBM on October 21, 1959, and marketed as an inexpensive "scientific computer". After a total production of about two thousand machines, it was withdrawn on November 19, 1970.
